Immediate Opening for Part-time, Hourly, 16-24 Hours Weekly
Availability: Afternoons/Evenings, during the Week & on Weekends
Reports to: Minister of Neighboring

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Facilities Team, responsible for day-to-day custodial support of on-campus ministry and events; assist in house-keeping and maintenance of church buildings, grounds, rooms, resources and supplies.
Event set-up and Campus support:
Assist with opening procedures in the morning and/or closing procedures in the evening, depending on schedule.
Hands-on support for set-up and tear-down of furniture and resources for events.
Assist in placing signage and supporting coordination for events.
On-call custodial support as needed during events.
Assist in coordination and upkeep of furniture and resources for events.
Refilling of paper stock and soap in restrooms and kitchen areas. Trash removal.
Spot-cleaning as needed during the day, including spills, vacuuming, litter, etc.
Assist in inspecting and reporting maintenance and repair issues to the Lead Facilities Engineer.
Assist with supplies inventory and replacement.
Must be an active member of a Christian church.
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills - ability to work as part of a team.
Positive, supportive and flexible attitude in working with others.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy furniture and equipment.
Basic understanding of computers (e-mail and ability to enter time worked into computer payroll system daily).
Must speak and understand English. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
Basic mathematical skills and ability to work with systems of measure.
